Beauty Of Destruction And Devistation (Creation In Many Forms.)

Pic Name: My City Alive
Pose: On The Wall
Pose Creator: Nephilim Jinx

About The Pic:
There are many wonderful things in the world. Many people portray them as trees, money, flowers, daylight, material objects. But most people don’t see the hidden wonders in the beauty of destruction. In this picture I used my avatar as a model and a pose I made to kind of capture that hidden beauty. The tone of this scene in ruin is but a small portion of that beauty, the suburban setting, and avatar with the “just getting by” look. My reasons for choosing this spot in SL were very obvious; it matched the theme of the picture and clearly showed what I was aiming for. The Semi-wrecked building is one of the main focuses of this picture, it’s supposed to be the symbol of what used to be but has passed. The fact that it’s still standing in place gives the feeling that no matter how far gone something leaves it’s always going to be there in the end, in the hearts of minds of the ones who cherished it. The avatar standing against the building looking down into the midst of nothingness is the story. To the viewer just a person, but to me a reason, him being there shows that it’s a place of great history to him, looking down as if to be remembering the good times that once used to be there, Knowing that in some way those times still linger but are now long in his past. The Words and name of the picture, “My City Alive” is a description of what is going on in the avatars mind, giving the feeling that even though the place seems to be gone, the city is still very much alive and will always carry on to be known by the people who have, will, and currently do inhabit it.

Love On Another Level, Picture Of Serrealism, And Visual Beauty

Pic Name: Surreal Seconds

About The Picture:
People say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” But what is a thousand words worth to a picture? This picture was inspired by the surrealistic moods and tones of what the environment has been around me lately, the cold air at some points, and gradually changing skies. Most of the “cartoon” or “drawing” effect came from my personal liking of things that are unreal in the most real situations. Most of the setting is of course as many know an AM Radio setting, only the pose was placed there by me for a short amount of time I was there to take this picture. I chose the place for the surrealistic tone of it, a countryside home with an abandon train on the tracks without a lead car, the dark skies in great sunlight. The name “Surreal Seconds” was something I thought of when I was taking this one, The ability to capture something so greatly close to a real life situation but in an abstract way, then twist and mend it into something so unreal it’s like a dream of reality. The reason for me using the train cars mostly instead of any other part of the scene was because of the mood they set, emitting a tone and feeling of loneliness and endless sorrow, but the couple together so happily in the pose that the train seems to accent the idea of blissful togetherness. The feeling of just the two and no one else around to disrupt the moment.

Bunny Love (And A Bonus Oldie: The Cold Of Night) *Night Time Specials*

Pic Name: Bunny Love
Pose: [Neph] A Little Bit
Pose Creator: Nephilim Jinx
Creators Shop: N/A
Pic Location: Fermi Sandbox

About The Picture:
There’s not much to this picture, personally I made this one just out of inspiration for the bunnies in Second Life. The forest theme of the picture is partially a part of me that lays dormant, calming and quiet places to get away, mostly the kind of place anyone would enjoy. The night time and camp fire are symbols of darkness and light, a battle between the lesser of us that we never see wage on, success in small places. The small glow of light the camp fire is emitting is partially planned and edited into the picture to show a symbol of "hope" kind of like a ray of light in a rain storm. The tall grass was just to accent the forests size, make the avatar seem small in comparison to the whole scene but the fire big enough to where the avatar seems just right, only the viewer can really decide whether the avatar is tall or very tiny. What would you decide?

In The Hall (An Afterschool Special)

Pic Name: In The Hall
Pose: (p4p) My Heart Belongs To You
Pose Creator: Mai Cisse
Creators Shop: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Liberty/95/200/21
Pic Location: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/GROWL/101/178/38

About the Pic:
There are many reasons one would do something in this world, let alone fall in love. The feeling and tone of this picture came from the ever so calming mid days at school. Those days in the afternoon where everything feels just great because the day was almost over but not just, giving you endless possibilities. The pose in this picture came from one of the best – in my opinion, – static pose creators in second life. It was not that hard to work with it being that I was taking this picture with the person I love so much, thus the setting of this picture. The school hallway is the only part of this picture that really had only a single inside meaning, the confining of walls that seem to lead to endless numbers of rooms but walking the path with someone that keeps you ever so comfortable by your side. Much like the road of life we seem to be walking past endless possibilities but when were with someone who makes it worth choosing carefully, making it all seem to be alright. The whole reason for the “student” theme of this picture is a symbolism of what I personally find so calming, being a student with a place to be, a reason to actually move. People who care all around and strangers too, but nothing really harmful unless made harmful by self actions. There is more in-depth meanings to this picture in itself but most of my opinions really aren’t that important to people without them really knowing what this picture says to them when they look at it. What are your opinions on the feel of it?
